Our Story

How it all started...

In 2017 Pastor Darren felt a call from God to plant a church in Flowood, MS. Along with his family, They moved to Rankin county on May 1, 2018. God gave them clear understanding of the name of the church and the vision of it. The name of the church comes from the book of Ezekiel 47:1-12 where he sees a vision of a prayer birthed river flowing and getting bigger and deeper the further it flows, as a result it facilitated life, healing and harvest in the land. That is the vision of Eastflow Church, to facilitate life, healing and purpose in the land. It started in living rooms in May of 2018 and led into "popup" services. We continue to have connect points in Flowood and God contuse writing this story...

Expanding the vision...

In October 2018 we walked through a God door that opened up in the city of Pearl, MS.
We always had the vision that Eastflow would eventually be a multi location / Multi Campus Church, but didn't realize it would transpire the way it has. When God speaks, we listen. We are in our third building since being in Pearl due to growth. God opened the door to purchase an old bank in Pearl. We undertook the task of bringing the building back to life and now its Eastflow's first campus we are working to payoff. What a beautiful testament to what God and Eastflow is about. Taking something lifeless and old and bring it to life and making it new again. This campus helps facilitate life, healing and purpose to the city of Pearl and its communities.

Where we are headed...

As the Eastflow Community grows and we are always looking at strategic ways to better serve and reach our world, one thing is for sure, our commitment, faithfulness, praise and worship to God will remain at the core of our focus as he navigates us toward the future. We can't (nor have we ever) drawn every detail out on paper of the journey. We know the vision, but the journey must remain in the hands of God as He is building Eastflow for His Glory. When he opens doors we will continue to walk through them. Eastflow is not a church that is defined by buildings and physical structures. We continue to remain active in building PEOPLE in both cities and communities. So, the story continues and we invite you to be part of it.
